Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will take on a variety of significant responsibilities, including:

• Managing a personalized caseload of clients, building rapport, and fostering positive therapeutic relationships that adhere to professional ethical standards and boundaries.

• Conducting regular sessions to assess client progress, review treatment objectives, and determine discharge planning when appropriate.

• Creating, implementing, and continuously monitoring individualized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique needs and goals.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and client assessments, to ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines.

• Performing in-depth intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and treatment needs.

• Collaborating effectively with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on youth clients, providing therapeutic support to adolescents facing various mental health challenges. Our clinicians are dedicated to understanding the complexities of youth behavior and mental health. By utilizing tailored therapeutic techniques, you will help empower young individuals to navigate their emotional and psychological journeys effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in mental health, social work, or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in your respective state.

• Ability to fulfill the requirements for internal credentialing within relevant clinical settings.

• At least one year of direct experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals dealing with substance abuse.

• Proficiency in conducting assessments, diagnosis, and providing both individual and group therapy.

• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record systems and basic keyboarding capabilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with a youth population is highly preferred, as is familiarity with contemporary therapeutic modalities such as CBT or DBT.
