Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position is primarily onsite at our Rehabilitation Center in Carteret. Key Responsibilities

• Elicit thorough assessments to determine the most effective treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic methods, including exercise regimens, stretching techniques, and hands-on manual therapy, tailored to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient treatments, responses to therapy, and overall progress using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Continuously evaluate patient outcomes and modify treatment plans to align with changing needs and objectives.
• Instruct patients and their families in the use of adaptive equipment, rehabilitation techniques, and home exercise programs to facilitate independence.
• Participate in professional development activities such as workshops, seminars, and peer networking to enhance clinical expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic spans all ages, from pediatric to geriatric populations, addressing a wide array of conditions including orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.

• Proficient in computer literacy, including word processing and familiar with electronic health record systems.
• Possess a flexible mindset, enabling adaptation to various patient and treatment needs.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
