This onsite position involves working closely with patients in a hands-on setting, allowing for direct interaction and immediate feedback on the rehabilitation process. Design and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, focusing on restoring mobility and alleviating discomfort.

Supervise and instruct physical therapy assistants to ensure that treatment protocols are followed accurately and effectively.

Assess and adapt rehabilitation strategies based on the home environment, providing recommendations to improve clients' autonomy.

Administer therapeutic exercises, traction, and other treatments while coaching patients in self-management strategies.

Evaluate and select appropriate prosthetic and orthotic devices and suggest necessary modifications in collaboration with physicians.

Document clinical evaluations, progress reports, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Consult with clients and their families, ensuring they understand the therapeutic process and are engaged in their care.

Oversee the timely submission of documentation for clinical and payroll purposes, adhering to the organization's policies.

Continuously assess patient progress and modify treatment plans based on their response to therapy and changing needs.

Remain available to address questions and provide support to Physical Therapy Assistants during patient treatments.

This role primarily focuses on orthopedic patients dealing with a variety of musculoskeletal issues, including post-surgical rehabilitation, joint replacements, and injury recovery. You will work with a diverse patient demographic, allowing you to apply your expertise in a variety of therapeutic scenarios tailored to patient rehabilitation goals. Your compassion and clinical acumen will significantly enhance our clients' rehabilitation journeys.

A bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

A minimum of one year of professional experience as a physical therapist.

Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.

Current CPR certification to ensure readiness in emergencies.

A valid driver's license and automobile insurance for travel to patient homes when necessary.
