This full-time position will primarily operate in a remote setting, with opportunities to engage clients through both telehealth platforms and face-to-face sessions at our outpatient office in West Haverstraw, New York. This role offers a hybrid work setting, allowing for flexible scheduling as we operate seven days a week from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to identify each patient's unique trauma history and recommending appropriate treatment options.

• Developing and executing individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience-building, ensuring that they align with best practices in mental health care.

• Utilizing a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Leading individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions that help clients process their trauma and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to achieve optimal integrated care for patients.

• Providing crisis intervention support during emergencies related to trauma.

• Educating clients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical standards in clinical practice.
