The Outlet Youth & Family Support Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. This position operates within an outpatient office setting that emphasizes remote collaboration and seamless service delivery. Employees enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, analyzing each patient's trauma history to develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize recovery, resilience, and overall well-being.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing their trauma and developing essential coping skills.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for our patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during traumatic incidents, helping clients to stabilize and navigate their emotional responses.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on understanding trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with the tools they need for ongoing resilience.

• Maintain accurate documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and continuity of care.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care best practices.

• Stay informed about advancements in trauma therapy and incorporate new insights to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapy services primarily focus on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. We recognize the unique challenges that our clients face and tailor our therapeutic interventions to meet their specific needs. Our goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences and navigate their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• A demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Proven experience providing trauma-focused therapies and intervention strategies.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations and provide support to clients during crises.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant computer applications.
\n
• Capacity to function as an effective team member within a multidisciplinary health care team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
