Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments tailored to the unique needs of children and adolescents.

• Design and implement customized treatment plans that consider developmental stages, family dynamics, and cultural backgrounds.

• Apply evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health issues, ensuring treatments are age-appropriate and effective.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, equipping parents and caregivers with tools to foster supportive home environments.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

• Stand ready to provide crisis intervention and support in urgent scenarios involving young clients.

• Educate children and their families about mental health matters, therapeutic options, and available community resources.

• Maintain precise, confidential documentation of all client interactions in accordance with ethical standards and state regulations.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and stay updated on best practices.

• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest research and treatments in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents, providing specialized support for those facing mental health challenges as they navigate various developmental phases. This includes understanding the unique pressures young individuals experience in today’s world, familial structures, and social relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in New York.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
\n
• Robust knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methods.
\n
• Experience in both individual and family therapy settings focused on young populations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated through a compassionate and client-centered approach.
\n
• Capability to establish trusting relationships with children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in technology applications relevant to telehealth.

• A strong ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team structure.

Compensation and Benefits\n
