Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to process traumatic experiences and learn coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to offer integrated treatment, coordinating care for holistic patient support.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, equipping clients with immediate coping mechanisms.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, ensuring they are well-informed about available resources and support systems.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation as required to comply with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced varying degrees of trauma, including children, adolescents, and adults. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• Strong knowledge base regarding trauma-related disorders and treatment methodologies.
