Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions by evaluating their physical capabilities through detailed initial evaluations and ongoing assessments to track progress.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that align with physicians' recommendations, showcasing expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and educational sessions tailored to individual patient needs.
• Engage in effective communication with patients and their families, providing education on treatment goals, progress, and home exercise programs to facilitate continued recovery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient interactions and treatment details in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
• Participate in cross-disciplinary team meetings to collaborate on patient care strategies and enhance local service delivery.
• Strive to meet minimum utilization goals and contribute positively to the organization's business objectives while maintaining high standards of client satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist with White River PT Services, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, covering various needs and specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; preference is given to candidates holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills to manage documentation and patient records effectively.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
