Work hours are typically Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with provisions for flexible scheduling based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to gather patient histories and identify critical aspects requiring attention in treatment.

• Create and implement comprehensive and individualized treatment plans focused on facilitating trauma recovery and building long-term resilience.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients in processing their traumas.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage emotional expression, coping strategy development, and healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure an integrative approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stability.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the resources available to them.

• Maintain accurate and secure documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work closely with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals who have endured significant trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
