Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments for new patients, utilizing a holistic approach to understand their mental health history and specific needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, focusing primarily on trauma recovery and the development of resilience.

• Provide diverse therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group settings.

• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions designed to empower clients through shared experiences and collective healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create an integrated care plan for each client, ensuring that all aspects of their mental health needs are addressed.

• Deliver crisis intervention strategies and immediate support to clients facing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their loved ones about the psychological impact of trauma, equipping them with effective coping strategies and available resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to a robust treatment plan structure.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and improve upon treatment approaches aimed at trauma recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults and adolescents who are coping with the long-term effects of trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our goal is to help these individuals process their experiences, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and ultimately reestablish a sense of hope and agency in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Competence in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities coupled with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations while supporting clients in crisis.

• Technological proficiency, especially with electronic health record systems and essential computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with a passion for trauma recovery work and a strong foundation in therapeutic practices will be considered. Experience in providing trauma-informed care in a variety of settings will further enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
