Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique history and craft tailored treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering environments where clients can share experiences and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention when needed, providing immediate support for trauma-related emergencies, and effectively addressing clients’ urgent needs.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and community resources to enhance their support systems.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation consistent with legal and ethical standards, ensuring up-to-date records in our EHR system.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions to stay abreast of advancements in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus includes individuals affected by a wide range of trauma histories, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
