Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting detailed mental health evaluations through initial consultations, systematically documenting each case from the first meeting through successful treatment completion.

• Assessing clients' emotional, behavioral, and psychological health, integrating assessments with client histories to inform treatment planning.
\n
• Creating personalized, evidence-based intervention and recovery plans tailored for individuals, couples, families, and groups while considering the latest in mental health practices.
\n
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging open dialogue and building therapeutic relationships that foster trust and healing.
\n
• Monitoring and documenting client progress throughout their treatment journey, adjusting plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluation and feedback.
\n
• Collaborating with fellow mental health specialists to develop comprehensive care strategies, sharing insights and resources that enhance treatment effectiveness.
\n
• Following up with hospitals and referring professionals to ensure seamless care for clients transitioning from inpatient to outpatient support.
\n
• Identifying potential barriers to recovery, such as social determinants of health, and enacting preventive measures to enhance client success.

• Providing support and guidance to families and primary caregivers dealing with mental health challenges, promoting a collaborative approach to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of Washington as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated previous experience providing clinical mental health counseling.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to maintain accurate client records and facilitate communication.
\n
• Familiarity with comorbid physical health and emotional disorders, as well as substance use challenges.
\n
• Knowledge of the best practices as outlined by organizations such as the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on developing therapeutic rapport.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and rapport-building abilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
