Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, identifying appropriate treatment approaches tailored to their specific circumstances.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based practices that promote resilience in clients.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), guiding clients in their healing process.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care and comprehensive support for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services, assuring that immediate needs are met during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, empowering them to navigate their recovery journeys actively.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, supporting each patient’s ongoing treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals coping with the results of trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse client base, each presenting a unique set of challenges and strengths. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and non-judgmental support.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with digital therapy tools.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly focused on trauma therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, with earnings between $90,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
