MindShift Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our team as a full-time practitioner. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at MindShift Behavioral Health, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create tailored treatment plans based on psychosocial assessments, ensuring an evidence-based approach to care.
• Engage with community resource leaders to represent our organization, participating in meetings and committees to address the broader social needs of our patient population.
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling to patients facing emotional and behavioral challenges, effectively assessing their needs and implementing appropriate treatment strategies.
• Maintain ongoing communication with physicians and other healthcare staff to report on patient progress, identify concerns, and address potential issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure accurate documentation of clinical assessments and patient notes, adhering to departmental and legal standards to contribute to a seamless treatment experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will empower patients to achieve their goals through tailored therapeutic strategies grounded in compassion and understanding.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• A valid professional license in the state of Oregon as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of three years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques.
• Strong ability to develop and maintain productive professional relationships with patients and colleagues alike.
• Comprehensive knowledge of various assessment tools, theories, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, allowing for clear interactions with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with additional certifications or specialized training in trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), or substance abuse treatment will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
