Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments using specialized teletherapy software to understand clients' mental health needs.
• Facilitate virtual therapy sessions via secure video conferencing tools, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques that are effectively adapted for online interactions.
• Document client progress through electronic health records (EHR) and collaborate with fellow counselors during regular team meetings to develop treatment plans and adjust strategies as needed.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in training sessions focused on digital counseling practices, ensuring that your skills remain current with industry standards.
• Provide feedback and innovative ideas aimed at increasing the effectiveness of our programs while adhering to the regulatory requirements that govern telemedicine services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including those facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Your ability to provide tailored therapeutic approaches is crucial, as clients may require different interventions based on their individual backgrounds and experiences. By employing a compassionate and client-centered approach, you will help facilitate their journeys toward healing.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active license for providing psychotherapeutic treatment in California (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT), ensuring compliance with all state regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in virtual settings, utilizing platforms such as Zoom or Skype to engage with clients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of direct experience providing mental health counseling to individuals facing emotional difficulties is preferred, but newcomers are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and familiarity with electronic health record systems will be an asset in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
