Silverwood Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor, specifically those holding LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW credentials, to join our skilled team on a full-time basis. In this remote role, you will engage with individuals struggling with various mental health challenges, apply therapeutic techniques, and support clients through their journey toward improved mental wellness.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to create a balanced work-life environment. Although you will be working from home, you will remain an integral part of our collaborative team, participating in regular virtual meetings and case consultations. You will have access to our state-of-the-art electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring you can efficiently manage client documentation and therapy plans while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to legal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health status, tailoring evaluations to identify specific needs and goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based approaches and the unique cultural backgrounds of your clients.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions, both individually and in groups, delivering effective therapy utilizing a variety of modalities that encourage personal growth and healing.
• Monitor client progress through regular follow-up sessions, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to create an integrated approach to client care, making referrals when indicated.
• Utilize advanced EHR systems for accurate record-keeping, reporting, and tracking client progress to enhance service delivery.
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and emotional regulation under pressure.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will primarily benefit clients grappling with a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. By employing culturally responsive treatment methods, you will provide clients from diverse backgrounds with compassionate care that respects their unique experiences and perspectives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid professional license (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) in the state of California.
• Minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience providing mental health counseling.
• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and a commitment to practicing with cultural competence and Sensitivity.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) to enhance patient care and documentation accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and establishing boundaries in clinical settings.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly with team-based care approaches.
• Training in specialized therapies or treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care.
• Experience working with both pediatric and adult populations.

Compensation and Benefits

Silverwood Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
