Work Environment

As an onsite provider in our rehabilitation facility, you will work alongside a diverse team of healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering personalized treatment. The work schedule consists of Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, allowing for work-life balance while immersing you in a dynamic, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities to address the needs of patients with different conditions, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine diagnoses.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service, fostering strong therapeutic relationships that encourage patient engagement and adherence to treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination to maximize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment plans, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and fulfill minimum productivity goals, contributing to the success of the clinic's mission.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited APTA or CAPTE physical therapy program with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Possession of a current state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, paired with the ability to use computer systems effectively for documentation and patient information management.
• Commitment to building meaningful relationships with patients to help them achieve their functional goals.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, providing direct patient care.
• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings and familiarity with evidence-based treatment protocols.
• Current CPR certification is required.
