Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Dynamic Care Psychotherapy, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions, symptoms, and personal goals for therapy.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and develop personalized treatment plans that may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and mobility training.
• Educate patients on correct therapeutic techniques and strategies to promote autonomy in their rehabilitation journey.
• Utilize hands-on therapy methods, including stimulation and massage, to promote healing and improved function.
• Assist patients in navigating assistive equipment, such as wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring safe and effective use.
• Maintain detailed patient records to document progress and therapeutic outcomes, while regularly updating goals as necessary.
• Advise patients and their families on at-home treatment options and exercises to reinforce therapeutic gains and enhance recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including children, adults, and the elderly, each presenting unique challenges and conditions. Your holistic approach will cater to various physical therapy needs, ensuring that every individual receives the specialized attention and care they deserve.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software for record-keeping and treatment planning.
• A strong commitment to flexibility and agility, essential for adapting treatment plans to meet patient needs dynamically.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience of at least 2 years in a physical therapy setting is highly valued.
• Experience working with a broad patient demographic, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Familiarity with advanced rehabilitation technologies and equipment.

Compensation and Benefits
