Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-social assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and emotional well-being, gathering crucial background information and history.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans based on clients' specific needs and therapeutic goals, ensuring they are tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe space for clients to explore their emotions.
• Closely monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, utilizing qualitative and quantitative measures to inform your decisions.
• Offer crisis intervention and therapeutic support during critical situations, ensuring immediate and effective assistance is provided to clients in distress.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client documentation in compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring confidentiality is prioritized.
• Engage in regular case consultations with multidisciplinary colleagues, fostering cooperative approaches to complex client cases.
• Participate in ongoing professional development training, including workshops and seminars, to stay informed of the latest research and practices in mental health treatment.
• Comply with ethical guidelines and standards set forth by relevant licensing boards and professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Delmont, you will primarily work with adults and adolescents dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges. Your role will be central to helping clients navigate their emotional struggles and achieve their therapeutic goals in a respectful and empathetic manner.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R).
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with a firm grasp of mental health conditions and treatment modalities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with strong interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience
