Key Responsibilities\n

• Client Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough mental health assessments and establish tailored treatment plans that prioritize the safety and well-being of clients, particularly in rural settings.

• Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis services as therapeutically appropriate, maintaining consistent communication during client sessions to promote stability and healing.

• Documentation and Compliance: Accurately document client interactions, treatment notes and therapy outcomes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

• Collaboration with Team Members: Foster a supportive working relationship with fellow counselors, participating in regular supervision and referral consultations as necessary.

• Decision-Making: Navigate complex clinical scenarios with a focus on ethics and the client's best interests while decisively handling treatment-related decisions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves a diverse patient population, including adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families. Counselors will work with clients experiencing a range of trauma-related issues, utilizing specialized therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to facilitate the healing process. Our aim is to create a safe space for clients to explore their trauma and work towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon is preferred.
