Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate patients' trauma histories.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients process their trauma and cultivate coping strategies.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive integrated care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and care continuity.

• Educate patients and families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, enhancing their understanding and support systems.

• Maintain meticulous records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using our electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this crucial role, you will primarily serve individuals who have experienced traumatic events, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and associated dissociative disorders. Your expertise will empower clients through a client-centered approach, allowing them to reclaim their lives and establish a strong foundation for future well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of Illinois.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
