Position Overview

Gentle Motion Physical Therapy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis at our onsite rehabilitation facility located in Sayreville, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to patient care, along with a positive attitude and exceptional communication skills. This role plays a critical part in the rehabilitation journey of our patients, offering a salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients which include reviewing medical histories, performing physical assessments, and formulating detailed treatment plans based on findings.

• Communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies effectively to patients and their families, ensuring they are involved in the goal-setting process to enhance compliance and outcomes.

• Implement customized treatment protocols with regard to the patient's unique conditions and advancements in healthcare practices, ensuring a high standard of care.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, consulting with physicians and other healthcare providers when necessary to modify treatment plans in response to patient progress or setbacks.

• Oversee discharge planning and ensure effective follow-up care, emphasizing clear and accurate documentation of patient interactions, evaluations, and treatment plans to maintain continuity of care.

• Manage your time effectively to adhere to productivity targets while maintaining accuracy and thoroughness in patient documentation.

• Drive departmental success by contributing to the achievement of existing goals and objectives in compliance with relevant regulations.

• Create a welcoming and accessible environment for patients, adapting to diverse needs and enhancing overall patient experiences through flexibility and responsiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation facility serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Each therapist is expected to tailor their approach to meet the specific needs of their patients, fostering recovery and rehabilitation through individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.

• American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical physical therapy environment is preferred, demonstrating the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
