Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

  Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, empowering patients to process their trauma and learn effective coping mechanisms.

  Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for each patient.

  Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and immediate assistance when necessary.

  Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping strategies, and available resources to reinforce their support systems.

  Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring each patient’s history and progress are well documented.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals who have experienced trauma, including those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will help guide them towards recovery, using targeted interventions tailored to their unique experiences and emotional needs.

Qualifications\n

  Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LPC/MHSP, LP, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.

  Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

  Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

  Proficiency in electronic health record systems and familiarity with technology to support therapeutic processes.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
