Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and executing individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches.

• Utilizing evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients in their healing journeys.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to guide clients through processing their trauma experiences and developing effective coping strategies.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care and integrated treatment plans.

• Providing timely crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educating clients and their families regarding trauma responses, recovery processes, and available community resources.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in clinical mental health is preferred. Experience in trauma counseling, particularly with trauma-focused therapies, is highly valued. Compensation and Benefits\n
