Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, tailored to the needs and goals of clients seeking stress reduction and enhanced well-being.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify each client’s unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, shaping individualized mindfulness practices accordingly.

• Guide clients in mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques designed to promote self-awareness, emotional balance, and effective coping strategies.

• Facilitate both individual therapy sessions and group workshops on mindfulness, stress management, and resilience-building techniques, fostering a supportive community.

• Collaborate with fellow clinicians and healthcare providers to create comprehensive treatment plans, integrating various therapeutic approaches to optimize client outcomes.

• Maintain precise and detailed documentation of client progress and therapeutic interventions in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

• Engage in continuous professional development, including personal mindfulness practice and participation in educational workshops focused on mindfulness methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from young adults facing academic stress to adults managing anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Your role will be instrumental in creating an empathetic atmosphere where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions, reduce stress, and implement practical life-enhancing strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.

• Demonstrated proficiency in mindfulness practices and therapeutic techniques.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for establishing a calming and supportive therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or similar mindfulness programs.

• Previous experience conducting group therapy or workshops in mindfulness or related areas.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
