Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ backgrounds, trauma histories, and specific therapeutic needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and long-term mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Deliver individual therapy sessions, focusing on helping clients process their trauma, establish effective coping mechanisms, and foster self-efficacy through tailored interventions.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, enhancing community building among trauma survivors and providing a safe space for shared experiences.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and integrated care for each patient.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, addressing urgent trauma-related emergencies and offering immediate support to clients.

• Educate clients and families about trauma symptoms, adaptive coping strategies, and any additional resources available to them.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring that patients' records are managed safely and effectively.

• Engage in regular case consultations, enhancing collaborative care practices and continual professional development related to trauma-informed approaches.

• Stay informed on the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in trauma therapy to continually improve therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, violence, and other distressing life events. Your focus will be on creating a trusting therapeutic alliance that empowers clients to reclaim their narratives and rebuild their lives in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and the application of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by empathy and a non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to track patient information and progress efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
