Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, evaluating the interplay between patients' psychiatric conditions and their physical health.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support in mental health emergencies, demonstrating composure and expertise.

• Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing a wide range of mental health issues, particularly those with concurrent medical conditions. You will play a vital role in addressing and supporting the unique challenges these patients face, helping them achieve optimal mental health integrated with their physical health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• Demonstrable experience in addressing the mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with patients and their families.

• A strong understanding of professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit with the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
