Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments that delve into patients' trauma histories, identifying the most effective treatment strategies for recovery.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans with specific goals in mind, focusing on trauma recovery and resilience-building techniques that empower patients.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions during individual and group therapy sessions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, as well as deliver crisis intervention when patients experience trauma-related emergencies.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and integrated care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, following legal and ethical standards, to track patient progress and uphold organizational integrity.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay current with research and best practices related to trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The individuals you will work with include trauma survivors from diverse backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and requiring personalized treatment approaches. Our trauma-informed practice emphasizes sensitivity to the complexities of trauma responses and strives to create a supportive atmosphere where clients can heal and grow. You will take on a pivotal role in helping clients develop effective coping mechanisms and strategies to navigate their paths to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating expertise in trauma-informed care.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience-building methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy, facilitating trust and rapport with patients.
• Ability to navigate high-stress situations calmly while fostering a professional and supportive atmosphere.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and tracking patient care.
• A commitment to working cohesively as part of a multidisciplinary team, valuing collaboration and shared goals.

Preferred Experience

• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms used in remote therapeutic settings.

Compensation and Benefits
