Key Responsibilities\n

As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Providing evaluations, evidence-based treatment, and ongoing follow-up services tailored to each client's unique mental health needs.

• Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including treatment plans, daily progress notes, attendance records, incident reports, and discharge summaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

• Leading support groups and workshops, facilitating discussions that foster patient engagement and empowerment.
\n
• Collaborating with the clinical team during staff meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance service delivery and team cohesion.
\n
• Engaging with clients, their families, and other agency personnel in individual meetings to discuss treatment objectives and progress.

• Identifying and addressing social service needs by connecting clients with community resources, agencies, and local civic organizations to advocate for their well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to serving a diverse client base, ranging from individuals experiencing acute mental health crises to those seeking ongoing support for chronic conditions. Our patients may include those navigating perinatal mental health challenges, depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and other mental health issues. Culturally competent care and the ability to establish collaborative therapeutic relationships are essential in this role.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
\n
• Current licensing as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• No history of medical malpractice claims, as verified by a third party.
\n
• Authorization to work in the United States.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a community health setting, particularly in providing virtual counseling services.

• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, or trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
