Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather detailed insights into patients' trauma histories and treatment needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that are focused on trauma recovery, using approaches tailored to promote resilience and growth.

• Conduct evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate supportive therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process traumatic experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for each patient.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, prioritizing patient safety and swift action in high-stress scenarios.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

Compensation and Benefits\n
