Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately determine the mental health needs and goals of each client, taking into account their personal history and current circumstances.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices that address a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress. For example, you may lead groups focused on coping skills or provide one-on-one sessions tailored to personal challenges.
• Develop customized treatment plans with clear, achievable goals based on thorough assessments, ensuring they align with clients' preferences and cultural backgrounds.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed, assisting clients who are dealing with acute issues or emergencies, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Educate clients on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and relevant community resources, empowering them to take charge of their recovery.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records to track ongoing progress, including treatment plans, session notes, and clinical outcomes in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards in practice, ensuring confidentiality and informed consent are prioritized in every interaction.
• Exhibit cultural competence when working with a diverse client base, adapting approaches to meet varied cultural sensitivities and needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, contributing to a holistic approach to client care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in telehealth or virtual counseling modalities is highly desirable, as this is a remote position.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive salary range between USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a potential sign-on bonus based on performance.
