Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify mental health and substance use challenges and develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral therapies, to promote overall client well-being.
• Maintain detailed clinical records in accordance with HIPAA privacy regulations, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and addiction specialists to coordinate care that addresses the holistic needs of clients.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families about mental health issues, available resources, and coping strategies.
• Stay abreast of current research, new methodologies, and advancements in mental health treatment to continually enhance personal and organizational practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMSW at Gotham Enterprises, you will engage with a diverse clientele primarily consisting of individuals facing substance use challenges, trauma histories, and co-occurring mental health disorders. Your expertise will be crucial in developing trusting relationships and facilitating recovery processes for those who may feel marginalized or stigmatized by their conditions. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required to practice as an LMSW.
• A valid Licensed Master Social Worker license in the state of New York is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy in a relevant mental health or substance use setting.
• Competency in implementing solution-based psychotherapy interventions that address clients' specific needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of clients.
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities necessary for adapting to client needs and treatment dynamics.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative remote team environment, contributing to a culture of support and shared knowledge.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in detox or addiction recovery settings will be highly regarded and considered beneficial.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches and their application in therapeutic settings.
• Fluency in languages other than English would be an asset, aiding communication with our diverse client base.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
