Alvita Psychotherapy Center is looking for a skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide essential mental health services to a diverse clientele from the comfort of your own home while enjoying a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year. Work Environment\n

As a remote position, you will engage with patients via teletherapy platforms, which allows for flexibility in scheduling appointments within our standard operating hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While most consults are virtual, some adjustments in your schedule may be necessary to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather in-depth information regarding patients' trauma histories and current mental health status.

• Develop and implement tailored, individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental wellness.

• Provide state-of-the-art therapeutic interventions rooted in evidence-based practices, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, offering a compassionate space for patients to address their trauma, develop coping skills, and experience healing.

• Engage in collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, comprehensive care for every patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, demonstrating calm and effective responses during trauma-related emergencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients who are navigating the aftermath of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD and other trauma-related disorders. You will be working with a diverse group of individuals, each bringing distinct experiences, backgrounds, and therapeutic needs. Your role is crucial in validating their experiences, assisting them in their recovery journey through evidence-based modalities, and fostering hope and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, showcasing a commitment to the mental health field.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies is vital.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.
