Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients, including individuals, adolescents, and families, to develop tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs and circumstances.
• Deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices, to foster client progress.
• Engage in regular communication with team members regarding patient assessments, treatment progress, and the collaborative approach to care through case notes and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Provide case management for assigned patients, coordinating with hospital and community resources to ensure continuity of care and holistic support.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with departmental standards, reflecting a commitment to ethical practice and accountability.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities offered by the organization to enhance your skills and stay updated with best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a Mental Health Counselor will involve working with a varied client base, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of mental health issues. You will have the opportunity to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. By employing modern therapeutic techniques through our telehealth platform, you will help empower clients to overcome their struggles and achieve their mental health goals.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
• A Master’s degree or a Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Willingness to dedicate 10 to 40 hours per week to client sessions, providing flexibility to both the counselor and clients.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, with competence in delivering diverse therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
