In this full-time, remote role based in Glendale, Arizona, you will play a pivotal role in delivering specialized therapeutic care to individuals affected by trauma, including those grappling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders.

Work Environment\n

This position will be entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while also offering a structured work schedule. Our standard hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some potential flexibility needed to accommodate patient appointments and urgent situations. You will work within a team that emphasizes trauma-informed care principles and best practices.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience growth, and reinforce coping mechanisms.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to foster patient healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to help clients process their trauma experiences and develop essential coping strategies.

• Coordinate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, collaborative care for patients.

• Respond to crisis situations by providing immediate support and intervention in trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources, fostering greater awareness and support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay updated on the latest research and therapeutic approaches in trauma therapy to ensure the provision of the most effective interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse client base, requiring a sensitive and informed approach to treatment that acknowledges each patient’s individual experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, with a preference for those who have worked directly with trauma-affected populations.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is crucial.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions is highly preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, alongside a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor, are essential for establishing rapport with clients.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and provide stable support to patients in crisis.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will possess not only strong clinical skills but also experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team will be an advantage as we emphasize an approach that integrates care among various health professionals to support our clients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience.
