Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, offering flexibility to accommodate the needs of our patients while maintaining a structured schedule. You will enjoy a work schedule from Monday to Friday, typically from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient schedules and urgent needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history, establishing a foundation for tailored therapeutic interventions.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience, aligning with evidence-based practices.

• Utilize recognized therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through processing their trauma while fostering coping strategies and emotional growth.

• Collaborate proactively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive and integrated care across all aspects of a patient’s treatment.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel safe and understood.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma reactions and adaptive coping mechanisms, empowering them with useful resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records that adhere to legal and ethical standards, reinforcing our commitment to patient privacy and quality care.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, sharing insights and strategies focused on trauma-informed practices.

Our counseling center serves a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on individuals experiencing trauma-related challenges. Clients may present with conditions such as PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, allowing you to bring depth to your practice.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care approaches.
\n
• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and maintaining ethical standards in mental health practice.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

• The ability to handle high-stress situations with calmness and professionalism.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure accurate and efficient documentation.

• A proven ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of experience is required, applicants with experience working in outpatient settings treating trauma-related disorders will be highly valued. Experience with specific therapeutic interventions such as EMDR or TF-CBT is advantageous, as it directly aligns with our treatment philosophy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
