Work Environment\n

This full-time opportunity offers a remote working arrangement, which allows for flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with our patients and team. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some degree of scheduling flexibility required to accommodate patient appointments and urgent needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and to identify suitable treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and the cultivation of resilience.
\n
• Employ a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and support their healing process.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and stability.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available coping mechanisms, and community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities that focus on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously improve care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including those with complex PTSD and associated dissociative disorders. Our focus on trauma recovery necessitates a deep understanding of the diverse and intricate challenges these patients face, as well as the ability to provide a safe space for healing and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting.
\n
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Proven ability to deliver trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in outpatient settings specializing in trauma recovery.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant digital applications to document patient care.
\n
• Ability to remain composed in intense situations, providing patients with a calming influence during crises.

• Experience collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary in the range of $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
