Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews with clients, documenting their case history meticulously from initial consultation through treatment completion.

• Assess clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, developing tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and circumstances.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices to promote healing and personal growth.

• Regularly monitor client progress throughout the treatment process and adjust intervention plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

• Collaborate actively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create comprehensive and cohesive treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will encompass working with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. The clients at Life Well Counseling Center often face a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health disorders. Your expertise in treatment modalities and empathetic approach will be crucial in helping clients navigate their journeys toward better mental health.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active, valid licensure as LMFT, LMHC or LCSW in the state of Florida.

• Successful completion and passing scores on the NCE and/or NCMHCE examinations.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.

• Familiarity with electronic health records systems, preferably AVATAR, to efficiently document client information.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor, providing services in individual or group therapy settings.

• Knowledge of addiction disorders and an understanding of how they intersect with mental health issues.

• Awareness of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and familiarity with treatment planning methodologies.

• In-depth understanding of pharmacological treatments prescribed by medical professionals and their implications for mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This rewarding position offers a competitive annual salary ranging between USD 80,000 and 100,000, in addition to a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
