Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and document findings from initial assessments to treatment completion, ensuring the collection of complete and accurate client data.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for various demographics, focusing on individual needs and therapy modalities.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques to foster open communication and healing.
\n
• Monitor client progress through the treatment plan, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet evolving needs and goals.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, and social workers, to enhance client care and foster a holistic approach to treatment.

• Establish appropriate referrals to internal and external resources to ensure clients receive comprehensive support, including medication management or specialized therapies.
\n
• Provide guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers to improve understanding and management of mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. The population served includes children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, allowing you to apply culturally sensitive approaches in your practice. By understanding the complex interplay of societal, familial, and personal factors, you will contribute to each client's recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.

• Successful completion and passing scores on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with exceptional interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience providing mental health counseling and therapy in various settings, demonstrating an understanding of diverse treatment methodologies.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, for effective record-keeping and client management.

• Knowledge of addiction disorders and its interplay with mental health diagnosis.

• Awareness of best practices as established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth understanding of pharmacological treatments and their psychological impacts.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus.
