Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you to work from any location while collaborating with a supportive team dedicated to client-centered care. Our outpatient office design encourages innovation and teamwork, focusing on reducing administrative burdens to enable you to prioritize direct client interactions. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a stable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments of clients to determine their mental health status and craft personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based and solution-focused approaches.

• Implement an array of therapeutic interventions, incorporating techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to individual client needs.

• Maintain meticulous documentation and uphold strict confidentiality standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, fostering open communication with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Green Oak Mind, you will work primarily with a diverse patient population that includes individuals from various backgrounds presenting with conditions such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and relational issues. Your compassion and ability to build trust will be essential in helping clients navigate their mental health challenges and achieve meaningful progress toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
