Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience while maintaining a strong connection with our team. As part of a robust telehealth platform, you will engage with patients through secured video sessions from the comfort of your home or chosen workspace. While our standard work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional adjustments may be needed to meet patients’ scheduling requirements. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's trauma background and inform treatment plans.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment strategies that focus on healing from trauma and fostering resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to drive effective therapeutic outcomes.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients address their trauma, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and gain insights into their healing journey.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all patients under your supervision.

• Provide crisis intervention support as needed, equipping patients with immediate coping strategies and resources during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping strategies, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery.

• Maintain accurate and secure documentation that complies with ethical and legal standards, ensuring patient confidentiality is upheld at all times.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education to remain current with best practices in trauma therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure in Florida as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience in mental health counseling, particularly with trauma-focused populations.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and in employing a variety of therapeutic modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain poise under pressure and in high-stress environments.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth applications is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates with documented experience in trauma therapy settings and those who have actively utilized EMDR and TF-CBT in clinical practice.
