Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments by meeting with clients to identify their mental health status and develop individualized therapy plans.

• Design and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adjusting approaches based on clients’ evolving needs and progress.

• Engage in regular sessions with clients to provide them with coping strategies and tools for managing their challenges effectively.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with practice policies and state regulations.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, being a stabilizing force for clients in distress.

• Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress and share insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of four years of applicable experience in mental health counseling or a related field.

• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders and effective therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to engage with a diverse client base.

Compensation and Benefits\n
