This position emphasizes teamwork while providing independence in managing your caseload.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, accurately documenting cases from the initial consultation through the completion of treatment.

• Assess clients' emotional, behavioral, and psychological health using standardized clinical tools and interviews.
\n
• Develop individualized treatment plans or intervention strategies for a wide range of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and diverse groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that incorporate evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment journey, adjusting care plans accordingly to promote optimal outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, medical personnel, and social workers to ensure holistic care for clients.

• Provide follow-up support for clients transitioning from hospital settings to outpatient care, partnering with psychiatrists and attending physicians as necessary.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and implement strategies to mitigate these challenges, aligning treatment interventions effectively.

• Support family members and caregivers, equipping them with tools and resources to understand and manage mental health issues.

As a critical member of our team, you will be serving a diverse and varied client population, which may include individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and psychosocial stressors. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrable experience in the field of mental health counseling with a client-focused approach.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for effective documentation and communication.
\n
• A comprehensive understanding of co-occurring conditions, including physical health issues and substance use disorders.
\n
• Awareness of best practices as advocated by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, to convey complex ideas simply and compassionately.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills exhibiting empathy and a supportive nature.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
