Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine appropriate treatment strategies.

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and building resilience.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, aiding patients in processing their trauma experiences and developing practical coping strategies.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for the patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance to patients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to foster understanding and support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings aimed at enhancing trauma-informed practices and interprofessional collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with adult and adolescent clients who have experienced trauma resulting in PTSD, complex trauma, and associated mental health challenges. Your expertise will play a vital role in fostering healing in those who have faced various life adversities, including abuse, loss, and significant emotional distress. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, combined with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach towards patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
