Work Environment\n

This full-time remote role allows counselors to conduct therapy sessions through telehealth platforms, ensuring safe and accessible mental health services. Our telehealth facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology to facilitate seamless communication and care, enhancing the therapeutic experience for both counselors and clients. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the varying needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough culturally sensitive mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ unique backgrounds and treatment needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient’s cultural context.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on addressing mental health concerns while promoting resilience and overall well-being.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
\n
• Provide prompt crisis intervention during emergencies, effectively managing urgent mental health situations as they arise.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment procedures, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, adhering to ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.

• Actively participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing training sessions centered on cultural competency and best practices.

• Stay updated on current research and developments in the field of mental health therapy, incorporating new knowledge into practice.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and unrestricted Washington state license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a Master’s or Doctoral degree preferred for comprehensive practice.

• Experience in providing mental health services to diverse populations is highly desirable.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.

• Strong organizational abilities and the capability to manage multiple cases efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior telehealth experience is a plus, especially within a multicultural counseling environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
