Your primary interaction will be conducted through telehealth platforms, ensuring that you have the tools necessary to provide high-quality care and support. You will also have the opportunity to conduct some sessions in our outpatient office based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate and understand the needs and concerns of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider each patient's developmental stage, family dynamics, and personal experiences.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy to address a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at educating parents and caregivers about effective strategies to support their children’s mental health journey.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of coordinated, holistic care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support in response to mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health disorders, available treatments, and community resources to empower them in their recovery process.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient interactions and treatment plans, complying with all legal and ethical standards.

• Actively engage in ongoing professional development through team meetings, case consultations, and participation in educational opportunities.

• Stay current with developments in child and adolescent psychiatry, ensuring that your practice is informed by the latest research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers primarily on working with children and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health concerns. You will engage with young patients aged 3-18 years who may present challenges related to anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and ADHD, among others. Your clinical expertise will play a critical role in the lives of these individuals, guiding them through difficult times and bringing hope to their families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMFT, or LMHC in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

• A strong foundation in childhood and adolescent mental health disorders, as well as evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Proficient interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, child-centered approach.

• Ability to establish rapport and build meaningful relationships with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Competency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications crucial for managing patient documentation.

• Capacity to work effectively within a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually , commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
