Work Environment

This role primarily operates in a remote setting, providing you with the flexibility to manage your time effectively while ensuring optimal care for our patients. Your standard work hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. You will be equipped with the necessary technology to support telehealth consultations, documentation, and communication with other team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs, facts, and history, utilizing standardized assessment tools as needed.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapies, including modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and therapy groups, providing informational support and a sense of community for participants.
• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and containment strategies during mental health emergencies.
• Closely collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to review patient progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly, ensuring a coordinated approach to care.
• Educate patients on their mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and available community resources to foster informed decision-making.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and other legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development sessions to stay current with clinical best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Lara Health Care Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults and adolescents struggling with various mental health challenges. Your expertise in evidence-based therapy and compassionate approach will empower individuals to navigate their unique struggles, optimizing their mental health outcomes. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health assessment methods and diverse treatment modalities.
• Proven ability to deliver both individual and group therapy to patients from varied backgrounds.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong capacity for building rapport with patients.
• Sound ethical judgment, maintaining appropriate professional boundaries at all times.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and related software applications.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while also excelling in independent practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting or related environment.
• Competency in conducting teletherapy and using digital tools to engage with patients effectively.
• Familiarity with local community resources and mental health services to support patient referrals.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and education.
