Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, identifying specific issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and developmental challenges.

• Develop actionable, individualized treatment plans that take into account each child's developmental stage and family dynamics, promoting holistic healing.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, tailored to the unique needs of each young client.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to educate and empower parents, fostering a supportive home environment conducive to their child's growth.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care and effective communication across all service providers.

• Offer crisis intervention services, providing immediate support and stabilization during mental health emergencies involving child and adolescent clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, effective coping strategies, and available community resources to enhance their overall well-being.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions in compliance with legal standards and organizational policies.

• Actively participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, staying updated on advancements in mental health practices and child psychology.

• Contribute to team meetings by sharing insights and collaborating on best practices to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with children and adolescents facing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and various behavioral disorders. By supporting these young individuals, you will play a crucial role in nurturing their resilience and promoting healthier emotional development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to connect empathetically with young clients and their families.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, facilitating efficient documentation and collaboration.

• Capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team structure, prioritizing the well-being and advancement of clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.

• Hands-on experience with diverse therapeutic frameworks and modalities, including behavioral interventions and family systems therapy.

• Familiarity with community resources available to children and families struggling with mental health issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
