Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic injuries, developing individualized treatment plans based on their unique needs and goals.
• Implement treatment strategies including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to aid in pain relief and enhance functional mobility.
• Regularly assess and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and techniques to enhance recovery, encouraging active participation in their treatment processes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the rehabilitation team to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to patient rehabilitation.
• Maintain professional licensure through ongoing education and training, participating in workshops and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Pro Motion Rehab Center, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Our therapists provide care to both adults and children, tailoring treatment plans to meet the specific mobility and rehabilitation needs of each client, ensuring they are supported throughout their recovery.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in patient documentation and progress tracking.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records.

Preferred Experience

• Previous internship or clinical experience in orthopedics or sports rehabilitation is preferred but not required.
• Experience with specific treatment modalities or techniques related to orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
