Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in our state-of-the-art outpatient office, equipped with the latest therapeutic tools and technologies that support optimal patient care. This full-time role requires your onsite presence from Monday to Friday, with typical working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical capabilities, limitations, and health histories.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, adapting them based on continuous assessment of patient progress.
• Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to aid patient recovery.
• Monitor patient progress, documenting changes and updating treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise programs, injury prevention, and self-management strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Participate in professional development activities and stay current with advancements in orthopedic physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves a diverse population ranging from post-operative orthopedic patients to individuals suffering from chronic pain syndromes and sports-related injuries. You will be responsible for providing compassionate and tailored care that addresses their unique rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required, with preference for candidates who hold a Master's Degree or higher.
• Current, active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, ideally within an outpatient setting.
• Strong knowledge and skills in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and pain management methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience
